Rude, heartless, but a funlover all the same, Avir never misses the chance to be diabolical. His interests key much closer to cheap dollar tricks than world-domination, and he prefers controlling things from the back seat or simply watching and taking amusement from the confusion and chaos rather than forcing his way to the front lines. Avir loves the thrill of strategy, having to play it right, find advantages and loopholes; thus, emotional bonds are considered a liability, and treated as such. Despite what he may sweetly say, Avir only feels it necessary to keep a small army of acquaintances an arm's length away to benefit from or take the blame in his place. Parts of him are immature yet--at the heart of things, he's just out to have fun, be it foolish or reckless--but he still considers himself well on his way to success.

As a young boy with nothing to hold onto but the independence that came with adulthood, Avir grew up with the intention to climb the social ladder straight to the top. His parents were one to spin tales and benefit from it, and Avir coveted of that power insatiably, practicing poker faces and avoiding trouble at school and joining a handful of cheap teen gangs upon dropping out. He knew he needed more, so he tested himself. He left home without a word, breaking any bonds he had formed and starting a new life in a city that didn't know him.

Once he caught whispers of gang activity about Las Vicio, he knew what his next step had to be. Through various and by every definition dishonourable means, Avir wormed his way into the Voltaics and became a murderer. His new life was alright, and he was satisfied; following orders, hurting others, hearing things he shouldn't, sleeping around freely, and more people than he was ever used to. It was a fun way to kill time and practice, and brought him closer and closer to his ultimate goal of backseat leadership, so why not stay?
